A House of the Ozarks is a WebGL and touch application which allows users to explore the family home of award-winning Ozark architect Fay Jones as well as his nearby speculative house, which was never finished. Users are allowed to explore in two different modes; orbiting the house, which allows the users to appreciate the architecture structurally and holistically, and walking through in first-person mode, which allows the user to understand the house as it relates to the human body and experience. Supplementing the main house experience is a "TimeMap" feature, which unfolds how Fay and his Mid-Century Modern contemporaries developed their architecture over both time and space (in the US), as well as in relation to each other and their sociopolitical contexts. As well as being the project lead on this project, I was directly responsible for designing and producing the UI and designing and refining the UX.
